I am an operations professional, strategist, and community advocate with over ten years of experience supporting leaders and organizations across healthcare, nonprofit, and corporate settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health, with a minor in Psychology, from Rutgers University, and later obtained my MBA in Healthcare Management, graduating magna cum laude.
As the eldest of five in a Haitian-American household, I learned responsibility, resilience, and service early in life. My commitment to serving others was deeply shaped by watching my mother pour into those in need through missions work, even while navigating her own challenges. These experiences instilled in me a strong belief in service rooted in faith, compassion, and action. Today, I am passionate about using my skills to strengthen mission-driven organizations like The Human Provision and to help create meaningful, lasting impact in underserved communities.

Kia Davis- General Director
“Service isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am.” That belief has shaped every step of my journey. Originally from the small town of Meridian, MS, I’ve always been driven by a deep passion for serving my community and others. Growing up as part of The Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi, service and involvement became second nature. Values like character, integrity, and humility were instilled early on—but leadership was the thread that tied them all together. As the eldest daughter, a standard was set for me that still guides my life today: no one is better than anyone else. If you have the ability to help, why wouldn’t you? And ultimately, it takes a village. I’ve been blessed with a strong village of people who have supported and encouraged me throughout my journey, and extending that same courtesy to others isn’t just a choice—it feels like the right thing to do.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a doctor. That calling led me to Jackson, MS, where I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and plan to continue my education to become an Obstetrician and Gynecologist to practice in underserved and underprivileged communities. Having studied abroad and embraced a life of service, I believe it is my purpose to support those in need—whether in the short term or long term—because everyone deserves help along their journey. Today, it is an honor to serve as General Director of The Human Provision, where I can continue fulfilling this mission of compassion and service. In a world where “good” seems rare, I know that The Human Provision will make it more common.
My story is proof that when passion meets purpose, impact follows, and I’m committed to making that impact felt in every life I touch.

I am originally from Athens, Georgia, where I earned my degree in Radiography from Athens Technical College. I now work as a CT Technologist at an imaging facility, where I am committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
In addition to my clinical work, I proudly serve as a member of The Human Provision, contributing to thoughtful decision-making that supports both community health and organizational growth. Outside of my professional roles, I enjoy reading, volunteering across diverse communities, and exploring new cultures. As a lifelong learner, I am continually seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and make a meaningful, lasting impact wherever I can.
